Others supporting performance information collection/reporting

Beyond the Performance Management department (if there is one), other teams in an organization may aid in collection and reporting of performance information. These teams typically are part of data management (under somebody like Chief Data Officer) and strategy. The Controller (Comptroller) is also a good place to find analytics-directed people. Such people, teams, departments should be recruited to assist in the creation and reporting of the change’s performance information. Be that for the change management activity only or for the underlying project change impacts.

At the very least these others that support performance measurement may have insights about the processes and procedures, tools and techniques that resonate within the organization. They may have templates or standards that ought to be used so that the recipients’ focus is on the information not the presentation.
