Plan coaching

Objective / Output

A detailed coaching plan that includes the type of coaching to be performed, specifies who will coach and how to recruit/prepare them, and the timing for coaching efforts will be ready as the foundation for developing effective training.

Moves and Communications comprising the "Plan coaching" play

Practical support/intervention at the time when behaviour change is expected to happen is a powerful change management tool. Whether delivered by supervisors, peers, or experts; whether proactive or responsive, teachable moments are the ideal point to adjust behaviour. The work to plan out an appropriate coaching program is the essence of this Play.

This activity is to explore and identify ways to support and reinforce knowledge and ability training using information generated about behaviour changes for impacted roles.

This activity develops a specific, multi-target coaching plan that accounts for unique (behaviour) changes and support needs of individuals in distinct roles. The goal is a method and schedule for development of a program to train coaches and establish coaching periods and approaches.

This activity is to periodically evaluate coaching program creation progress with an eye to any adjustment necessitated by new or altered content.
