Train

Objective / Output

Impacted people have received at least one instance of available training and should know (or at least be aware of) the expected, specific adjustments to their behaviour.

Moves and Communications comprising the "Train" play

Description

Training is teaching impacted people what they need to know and understand to make behaviour changes. A number of discrete, serial activities are implemented to execute training. These get more complicated as the situation gets larger/more diverse. The work to execute training is the essence of this Play.

This activity is the implementation of the pre-launch training program as planned to impart the specific knowledge and ability on impacted employees need for post-change behaviour.

This activity is about exposing original or additional training tools and using outreach to encourage impacted people to reference these materials as much as necessary to ingrain the change(s).

This activity is to schedule the delivery of the training program to impacted personnel.

Alert and instruct impacted people how to register for and take the offered training.

Remind impacted people to follow through on change, offering availability of (supplemental) training and job aids support.

Expected Duration

3-4 weeks work effort and likely a little more lapsed time depending on how much slack is provided for registration, how many sessions are provided, and the number of trainees.
