Job aids ready for electronic distribution or reproduction to paper (real old school stuff).
Job aids need to be conceived, developed, tested, and produced. They have to be in complete harmony with training information and messages but remain a discrete work package. Fortunately, much of the content can be appropriated from training material. The work to create or secure content from training and messaging, and take the steps needed to get job aids ready to go is the essence of this Play.
This activity is to review, test, and approve job aids planned and created for the project (e.g., cheat sheets, macros, manual and references, etc.).
This activity is to finalize development so job aids are ready to release. It is valid if job aids are part of the change management program and earlier review of the work product indicated deficiencies (or they were simply incomplete).
This activity is about the creation and production of any job aids specified in the training plan.
2-3 weeks of work effort varying by how much preexisting content can be repurposed and the amount of design help/oversight.
