Key project team

Key project team is a fluid collective that refers to those members of the project team that are particularly necessary for a given activity. This could be because they represent imminently impacted individuals or roles. Perhaps they have particular expertise or knowledge. Whatever the reason, key project team members are those individuals that the change manager or project manager—or sponsor even, in some cases—deems particularly required for a given task.

With rare exception, no team member is always or indefinitely key. It is strictly circumstantial for the Move that is in the works.
